For today... Sunday, February 6, 2011

Outside my window... It is dark after a fairly sunny day. It's been a long time since we had sunshine in any abundance!

I am thinking... about what a wonderful weekend getaway I had with hubby.

I am thankful for... Adam and Becky who worked out a plan for Super Bowl Sunday so that hubby and I could take our trip.

From the kitchen... Michigan Hot Dogs... our traditional Super Bowl Sunday meal.

I am wearing... jeans, gray socks, burgundy v-neck sweater.

I am creating... a comfort shawl.

I am going... to start making some things for Isaac's birthday.

I am reading... Colony by Anne Rivers Siddon

I am praying for... My sister in law to feel better and my son to have a safe journey from here to there.

Pondering these words... "It is what it is."

I am STILL hoping... to make fleece mittens for my little boys.

I am hearing... the fan, the dog snoring and the football game.

Around the house... shoveled snow and chopped ice when we got home this afternoon, then a few loads of laundry.

One of my favorite things... long, deep bathtubs. Ours is not big enough to stretch out and soak in, but the hotel we stayed in this weekend had an old fashioned soaking tub so I had a nice loooooong soak last night before bed... heaven!

A few plans for the rest of the week... Tech Team meeting tomorrow, Homework Lab Tuesday and Thursday, Adam home for the weekend on Friday, hopefully a little thrifting on Satuday.
