It got a little hot here in small town Idaho today. It was 96 degrees, which is hot for the area I live in. I don't know how some of you do it with the heat and humidity that you are having now. Our heat is a dry heat which is easier to take, other than I am wrinkling at a much faster pace than most. My skin is so dry, I can hear myself cracking. Now, I'm not going to complain about this heat, because it took so long to get it here. Out my window tonight is a beautiful lightning show. I'm glad I stayed up to do this post so I could see it. I love lightning and thunder. I've loved it since I was a child. I would climb out my sister's window and sit on the roof and watch it until it was time to come in and go to bed. (Mom, if you're reading this, I know you didn't know I was putting my life at risk, but I'm still here so all is well). I love this time of year. I love this time in the garden. I love the smells, I love the sounds, I love the colors and textures, and I love going out every morning to see what is new in the way of blooms. I thought I would share some
of them with you . I hope you enjoy them.
